Dracula is the story of the most famous vampire in the history of world literature. It was published in 1897 by the Irish writer Bram Stoker. The novel quickly became a sensation and to this day is delights readers with horror and strangeness. The book was written in the form of letters, newspaper clippings and diary fragments. The main character, Jonathan Harker, is a young lawyer who embarks on a journey to Transylvania to meet with the mysterious Count Dracula, who plans to move to England. Once there, however, it appears that the count is not who he says he is. His plans are bloody and murderous, and the first victim is to be Jonathan. Meanwhile, in England, the main character’s fiancée, Mina, is awaiting him, who together with her friend Lucy becomes a witness of inexplicable events.
